11. your hobbies?
What is a hobby, anyway? I always thought music was a hobby, but I guess not. Therefore, I'll give you a list of my other careers: Photocopy art, nonsensical writing, driving, coffee, the study of Freemasonry and the study of Jay Chilcote.

12. Favourite place to visit?
I like to visit Bellingham. I also like a number of similarly small (or smaller) local towns -- Edmonds, Snohomish, Mount Vernon. Winthrop is one of my favorite places; it's about a six hour drive from here, across the North Cascades Highway. Vancouver is good, as well.

13. Favourite ice cream flavor?
Haagen-Dazs strawberry is my favorite ice cream.

The glass is broken.

The list is long; I'll try to keep it down -- Red House Painters, Weezer (Pinkerton), Bedhead, Superdrag, Low, the Posies, Flin-Flon, Brian Eno, George Martin, Aqua.

17. If you weren't doing music right now, what do you think you'd be doing with your life?
If I wasn't being musical, I'd be working at Starbucks (I quit a year ago) and trying to establish myself as a photocopy artist.

18. Favourite song at the moment?
The first song on the new National Skyline EP is my favorite song this week. It's called "Metropolis."

19. Best show you've ever been to?
The best show I've been to was the last time Bedhead played in Seattle, at the Crocodile, about two years ago. Runners up: Superdrag 1995, Gene 1996, James 1994.

20. Favorite death cab song?
Of late, "Little Fury Bugs" is my favorite Death Cab For Cutie song.
